Kindergarten registration

Taylor is officially registered for kindergarten. I'm not sure yet how I feel about this. I'm excited for her to start this new adventure, but at the same time I am sad because this is the beginning of her becoming independent from me. For the last 5 1/2 years she has been my life. Now she will be gone for almost 3 hours a day 5 days a week. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to some time for me, but it is going to take some time to get use to not having Taylor with me all the time.

Taylor's new haircut

Taylor got her hair cut yesterday. Originally she was only going to get it trimmed, but once she was on the chair she decided she wanted it cut shorter. It is hard to tell from the picture, but she cut about 5 inches off. She is much braver then her mom.

6. Cabellas (free entertainment with kids is always a plus)
7. A selection of restaurants
8. The close proximity to Salt Lake and Orem
9. Having more then just Walmart to shop at
10. Did I mention our friends and the ward?

For all of our friends in Lehi, we miss you greatly.

Summer Fun

Taylor has been loving the pool we bought this year. She always wants to be in the water. Who can blame her...this heat is unbearable.
