This has been a busy week for us. Sunday we were able to attend church at our old ward in Lehi. I was a little nervous at first since we haven't been there in a year, but as soon as we walked in everyone made us feel so welcome. Many people asked if we were back and Bishop made sure to inform us of the homes for sell within the ward boundaries. We enjoyed our visit so much. Unfortunately the day went by way to quick and we weren't able to visit with everyone as much as we would have liked. I guess that just means we will have to make another trip up there soon. Someone asked me why I love Lehi so much. Although I do love Lehi, it isn't so much the city that draws me there, as much as it is the PP3 ward. Anyone who has been in the ward can understand what I am talking about (and please feel free to explain it). The ward members are like family and there is a sense of belonging...it is so easy to become attached. It is just an amazing ward. Thanks everyone for making us feel so at home during our visit.
On Tuesday Jeremy and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary. It is hard to believe that we have been married that long. It makes me feel old. It has been a great 9 years together and I am excited to see what the future years together bring. For our anniversary, Taylor spent the night at my moms house while Jeremy and I went to dinner at Ottavio's and then watched Hancock.
Thursday we packed up our camping gear and headed to the Muhlestein family cabin to spend a few days in the great outdoors. It was nice to be able to spend time together as a family without all the everyday distractions. Although I am curious about what we missed with the Olympics.
Today I was called as the 2nd councilor in the Young Womens. I will miss Primary, but I am excited to be in YW. It will be a new experience for me. Brittany, I may have to get some ideas from you since you are a pro now with the young women. I could tell from your camp pictures that the girls love you.
So that was our week in a nutshell.

Happy Anniversary! And I'm glad you survived the cabin. Who needs running water??
Congrats on the anniversary! But you did not post if you liked to movie or not?!?! I think that is awesome that you are in YW's! You will love it! It is an amazingly fulfilling calling, and helps you keep up with teenage lingo, and the latest texting technology!! I will help you with anything you need, but I am sure you will be great!
The movie wasn't too bad. There was a lot of swearing though...kind of ruined it for me.
Happy Anniversary! I heard there was a lot of swearing. PS, I posted why I love it here in this area on your post just before this one. Lovies!
Sounds like a fun and busy week. You'll be great in the YW. They are going to love you.
