I've been tagged

Okay, so I have been tagged. I'm suppose to post the 4th picture from the 4th folder and tag 4 people.

This is my picture. We were in Newport beach and I thought it was beautiful. Now I tag Renee, Megan, Stephanie, and Ashli.

Happy Halloween

It is Halloween!! I took some pictures of Taylor before she went to school today. I wanted to make sure I had some pictures just in case something happens to her costume at recess.

Taylor wanted to be a pirate this year and fortunately I was able to find a modest girls pirate costume. Thanks Elizabeth Swann. Doesn't she make a cute pirate!

Pumpkin Carving

So, I have been accused of not updating my blog often enough. Sorry everyone. I will try to do better. Here is something new for you.

Monday we carved pumpkins like many others. Well, Taylor and Jeremy carved. I watched. I can't clean out a pumpkin.

The finished product. The ghost (bottom pumpkin) is Jeremy's. The bat and the the smiley face are Taylor's.

Birthday Fun

First, I have to say that I am a very lucky person. I have a wonderful husband and a sweet daughter. Thursday morning I was woken up by Taylor wishing me a happy birthday. She is always very thoughtful on special days (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays) and likes to wish us a happy whatever it is as soon as she wakes up. She also gave me the cutest card that she made all by herself and a quarter. Sweet, huh.

So after Taylor got out of school we went to the pumpkin patch in Springville. It is just a big field with pumpkins and you get to go out and pick your own. Taylor had such a great time trying to find her perfect pumpkin.

Here is Taylor's pumpkin. It is very heavy and she struggled to hold it on her own.

I love Taylor's expression in this photo. She is trying so hard not to drop the pumpkin. Good thing Daddy came to the rescue.

So after the pumpkin patch Jeremy and Taylor took me out to lunch at Olive Garden, my fave. Then we went to Costco and bought one of the Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes. If you have never tried one of these, you should. There are 4 different flavors in the box and they are so delicious.

I had a really great birthday even though I'm 1 year closer to being 30. Aghh!! The best part was being able to spend the day with my 2 favorite people.

Soccer

Okay, so I'm finally posting soccer pictures. Taylor has really enjoyed playing again this year and has shown improvement. Last year she would just kick the ball regardless of which direction it was going. This year she has learned how to turn the ball around and go towards the correct goal. She even scored her first goal during her last game. Way to go Taylor!!

Taylor's favorite position to play is goalie and she is actually really good at it.

Taylor is in the center, #8.

Kindergarten Update

Taylor has been in kindergarten for almost 2 weeks now and she is still loving it. She is making a lot of new friends, although she doesn't know most of their names. Yesterday she passed off all of her letters and sounds so today she got a medal and a candy bar. She is doing great and hopefully she will continue to love it.

As for me, I am enjoying some time alone. Taylor is only gone for 2 1/2 hours a day so it isn't too bad. It is like having nap time back. I had forgotten how much more I can get done without Taylor always wanting something. Plus, it keeps me sane. Well, as sane as I can be anyways.
